Mommy and Me

Today was so much fun! My Dad had the day off and so he and my Mom took Sage and spent the day together shopping, playing at the park and going to lunch at McDonald's. He got spoiled and had a blast being the center of attention! Aurora and I stayed home and watched Sleeping Beauty, she already loves it, and whenever the fairies appear she says "Fwhy, Fwhy" and whenever Sleeping Beauty appears she says "Wow". She loves to dance to all the music and runs to cuddle with me when the evil Maleficent appears. It's SO cute, and as you can guess I'm SO happy that she's a girly girl. She loves her necklaces and purses. She also loves boxes!!! She plays in them for what seems like hours.

She was trying to hide from me. We were playing Three Little Pigs and I was the Big Bad Wolf, and when I would change my voice and say "Little pig, little pig let me come in!" she would hide under the box. It was very cute!

She then decided that she would show off her newest trick. Climbing on the table and turning in the fan by pulling the apple. She hasn't quite figured out how to get down and so when she decides she's done, she cries for her "Mom Mom" and then flashes this super cute smile and you can't help but smile back at her.

After all the playing she decided to unwind in my arms with her right thumb in her mouth and her left hand twirling her hair. It's the only way she goes to sleep, that unless her "Dad Dad" is around then Mom is chopped liver. I really enjoyed spending the day with my Princess and I think she had a great day too, without her Brother bothering her and bulldozing her out of Mommy's arms.

Adelle

Tomorrow my Niece Adelle celebrates her 1st Birthday. She is truly a miracle, and is by far one of the most beautiful babies in the entire world. She even has my Grandpa Bigler's ears, just like Aurora. This picture is from last Thanksgiving, I just love this picture of Adelle and my Mom. Adelle will be here next week for 2 weeks and I am so excited. Aurora will love having another girl to play with. I can see them now running around the house with their purses and necklaces screaming because their being chased by Sage the Terrible Monster. He loves his Sister, but he also loves to torture her as well.

**Tangerine Tango: Fiery like a Spanish sunset, this hot hue is the mouth-watering orange you have been craving
**Pink Pirouette: Named after a ballerina en pointe, this just might be the perfect pink. All we know is that it's perfectly girly!
**Riding Hood Red: Fairy tales tell us that creativity and daring will get you far in life, but a hint of girlish charm never hurts; hence the name Riding Hood Red.
**Pacific Point: This stunning sapphire blue makes us think of sunny days spent lounging by the ocean. You'll love this jewel like hue!
**Baja Breeze: This soothing color instantly brings to mind weathered surf-shops and antique long boards...with a Mexican twist. Nowhere but Baja, California, could inspire such a shade!

Family Fun Night

Yesterday for FFN(family fun night), we went to Sea World. It's been awhile since we've gone, and I forgot how much I LOVE it. The best thing about having yearly passes is that we only have to go for a few hours instead of all day to make it worth the money. Sage thoroughly enjoyed the New Sesame Street Bay of Play! He played and climbed and it was hard to convince him to leave, to see the other animals, Thank goodness for Funnel Cake!

Next we went and saw the Bat Ray's. Sage also enjoyed petting them. Aurora wasn't too sure what to think of them.
Sage, waiting patiently for the Shamu Rocks Show to start
Aurora, and her new hairstyle. Also, waiting patiently for the show to start.
I just love these animals! They are so magnificently beautiful. When I was little I really wanted to be one of Shamu's Trainers, too bad I'm deathly afraid of deep water. It was really great to spend the evening as a family! Sea World is such a magical place with something for everyone to enjoy. We are going again on the 21st. Anyone want to go???

Frozen Treat

After seeing this card made by Christina Vizcarra, my brain started going a mile a minute. I've been working on a card for this months Swap for our Demo Meeting. It's turning out just how i envisioned it and I am so pleased. I'm dying to show it to you, but can't until the other ladies see it first. I'll be posting it Wednesday night.

Flip Flop Card

I needed to make some invitations for a church activity, and thought it would be fun to do a Flip Flop shaped card. It was tons of fun to do, I'll definitely be hanging into my template to do it again. To make the template, I just traced one of Sage's shoes. On a scale of 1-5, 1 being easy and 5 being difficult, it was a 1. It was the easiest card I've done in a long time.

Card Recipe:
Stamps: Scatter Sunshine Wheel (retired)
Paper: Only Orange CS, Tempting Turquoise CS
Ink: Only Orange
Accessories: Boho Blossoms Punch, Tempting Turquoise 1/4" grosgrain ribbon, Rhinestone Brads
